Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE AND QUALITY ASSURANCE:
- Maintain, enhance and ensure the quality of application software for UB Foundation, including but not limited to: AccuFund, Real Vision Software (RVI), Caissa, and UB’s Strategic Information Reporting Initiative (SIRI).
- Utilize tools such as Visual Studio and SSIS to support data-driven applications, streamline data ETL (Extract, Load, Transform) processes, and ensure seamless data flow and integration across applications and systems.
- Support the development and maintenance of Oracle and SQL Server components such as stored procedures, functions, and views used in ETL workflows.
- Conduct quality assurance activities to ensure the reliability and efficiency of data.
- Develop and maintain documentation for reports, procedures, processes, and interfaces.
COLLABORATION AND PROCESS IMPROVEMENT:
- Identify and implement process improvements to ensure accuracy of data feeds and provide opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Engage with end-users to gather feedback and address user needs.
- Develop working knowledge of UB Foundation business office operations.

Minimum Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree is required.
- A minimum two years of experience (includes internships and relevant projects) working with database operations with the ability to access and understand data in a complex, multi-purpose client/server environment.
- Experience with SQL database operations relating to Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Knowledge of ETL development using tools including but not limited to SQL Server, SSIS or other comparable platforms.
- Demonstrated knowledge of technical support and usage of ad-hoc query tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Exercises attention to detail with high efficiency and effectiveness.
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate technical information to non-technical end users.
- Ability to work independently with a minimum amount of supervision.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage time and prioritize work assignments.
- Experience developing and maintaining ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) within Visual Studio.

$72,000 – $82,000
